Vacuum coated coarse PET flakes of approximately 0.2mm diameter, ideal for decorative applications in most thicker film inks, paints and some low temperature plastics applications. These flakes are treated with an additive to dramatically reduce static electricity for ease of handling. All shades comply with UK and EC Toy Regulations (EN71, part 3, Heavy Metals). Finer versions of the standard flakes are available to special order, but shades may not be exact matches to the standard grade.

Application
guidelines:
These flakes are quite robust, but should be dispersed by stirring only, not
milled or ground. Processing temperatures should not be allowed to rise above
50°C. Mixing with non-opacifying colourants and effect additives is possible
to achieve custom effects.
