Inorganic UV Responsive Pigments

White bodied powders for use in inks, paints, plastics and other applications, where their presence is not meant to be apparent under normal lighting conditions. Under long ultraviolet or short ultraviolet irradiation, these materials phosphoresce brilliantly, with little or no afterglow once the irradiating source is removed. Good stability under prolonged exposure, so may be used externally.

Application guidelines:

These pigments are insoluble but should not be milled or ground as this will damage their crystalline structures and reduce luminescent yield.

Should not be used for water based applications, especially acidic formulations. These pigments may be blended together, but do not blend with non-luminescent pigments, or dyes, or other opacifiers, which will quench the luminescent emissions.
